An Electric knife, really?
A nice sharp filleting knife will make this so much faster and more precise. There is a reason why these knives were developed.
Keep a great edge on your knife and filleting is so easy.
I do like the way he just strips out the boney parts though.
I agree. I’ve tried the electric knives and always go back to my fillet knife. Getting those bones out is the key with northerns
Not sure about the electric, as mentioned keep your knife sharp it works just great…..pike are tasty in the winter or from cold water….those y bones can be a bitch for sure….I was showed a 5 fillet method….more than one way to fillet a northern…:)
