Lake Erie Fishing Report

July 4 – Mike Pasik and Jerry Hinton headed to the Queens side of the river this am to jig for walleye. Set down at the north end of the Amherstburg Channel and immediately lost the first eye at the boat. Then I watched Mike catch 5 eyes with 1oz jigs with Wyandotte worms tipped with live crawler. Stubborn me, I kept with my Finn S minnows on 5/8oz jigs and ended up with 4 while Mike filled our 2 man limit. Great time, mixed bag of eyes, 14″ to 25″ fish. He also caught a 41″ musky. No camera but I netted it and released it unhurt. Great morning with a great guy!!!
