Lake Erie Islands Walleye Fishing Report

Not many fisherman out today. Winds speeds were 20 mph + most of yesterday afternoon and 20 + most of today. Winds were SSW most of the morning switching to WSW this afternoon.  These readings were from buoy SB101 at South Bass Island. Predicted wind speeds for tomorrow are 15 knots out of the west. [...]

Lake Erie Islands Walleye Fishing Report

Capt. Keith aka Pooh Bear took 39 walleye west of North Bass Island and was home early. He was trolling Tru Trip divers with Scorpion spoons back 50′ to 60′. As an item of interest a 30+ inch Sturgeon was landed in the North Bass island area. It was released unharmed.
